Emotional support

We can help you find the right support and information to manage your feelings and emotions, during and after treatment for cancer.

You may experience many different emotions when you have cancer or if you care for someone with cancer.

Whether you would like to speak to someone about the way you feel or find a more practical way to deal with your emotions, we can help.

We can refer people to our trained counsellor to help you make sense of your feelings. You may wish to join a support group and speak to others in a similar situation, or take part in a workshop designed to help you manage stress, problems with sleep, or find ways to relax. We also offer bereavement counselling.

Following an initial conversation with a wellbeing practitioner, we can provide details of the services available to you and refer you for further support.

  • Please make an appointment to speak to a wellbeing practitioner and we will have a conversation about your needs.

  • We will have a conversation and take time to find out about your situation and together agree a support package that meets your needs

  • Cancer patients receive emotional support, exercise, nutrition. Patients also six free beauty treatments or therapies and a nominated carer can receive two free treatments.

  • Please speak to a wellbeing practitioner and we will have a conversation about your needs and if the course is suitable

Aurora support

My GP suggested I speak to Aurora about the way I was feeling and find out more about the support available. I’m so glad I did.
